Temples are beautiful places. They are peaceful and relaxing. The Kathok Centre near Coombs is a lovely place to spend some time. Joel and I want to go back and see about taking some of their meditation sessions. When we were there, the lovely little building that houses the Golden Buddha was closed so we will be heading back soon.
I have no idea why people leave small items at the base of the mounds with prayer flags on them. I did a bit of research on the internet and was unable to find an answer. I’d love to find out.
